Revelstoke is in the Western Cordillera landform region. There is mountains, rivers, valleys, etc. Throughout and around Revelstoke there is 700km of mountain ranges. The mountains were formed from when the north American and the Pacific Plates collided.

Revelsstoke is in the Cordilleran climate region. There is a high level of precipitation in the summers and very large amounts of snow in the winters, they can get up to 59ft of snow in a winter. The average temperature is about 9-24 degrees Celsius

Soil and vegitaionThere is four main types of vegetation in Revelstoke, Western Red Cedar, Western Hemlock, Subalpine firs, and Engelmann Spruce. Revelstoke is close to the edge of the Cordilleran vegetation and the Boreal and Taiga forest.

extream weatherRevelstoke has some extreme snowfall, in a winter they can get up to 59ft of snow. They do have the odd wildfire but not too often does that happen.
